purpose.

To create a private courtyard park as an extension of the apartments — with thoughtfully designed recreation scenarios, year-round aesthetics, a network of winding paths, diverse landscaping, varied terrain, and water features for the comfort of residents.

A Meeting of Natural Forms with Geometric Structure.

We concealed the geometry of the building within a natural pattern: the lines of the plan flow like a riverbed, converging at focal points. We designed a private courtyard park as an extension of the apartments — a living landscape year-round.
Each courtyard has its own character and color code. Large swathes of perennials, conifers, and grasses ensure visual impact at any time of year, while green walls of trimmed shrubs create privacy in the heart of the metropolis.
project concept and solutions.

Functional Areas.

Willow Courtyard with a Pond and a Waterfall
The focal point of the Willow Courtyard is a large pond with an irregularly shaped bottom, whose contours echo the curves of the layout. The pond is surrounded by lush greenery—it is nestled among rolling hills planted with large willow trees and surrounded by perennials. Here you'll find a shaded area with seating arrangements for relaxation, a zone with lounge chairs, and a space for yoga.
Recreation Area on the Boulevard
The boulevard, which runs from the north entrance to the south entrance, is a popular spot for residents to take a leisurely stroll. This scenic path winds through key areas of the site and is accentuated by plantings and inlays in the paving. In the center of the boulevard lies a pond surrounded by hills covered with pine and willow trees, as well as a undergrowth of grasses and forest herbs. The water flows down the terraces of the pond, creating a pleasant auditory and visual effect.
Maple Courtyard with Green Rooms
The entrance area and maple courtyard are filled with multi-level green spaces created from trimmed shrubs. The main attraction in the courtyard is a water feature with geysers, consisting of several terraces along which water flows. In addition to furniture sets, some of the rooms feature singing bowls—a place to reconnect with yourself and nature amid the gentle sound of flowing water.
Sports Area
The sports area is a multipurpose area featuring various game scenarios and a workout area with a dedicated fitness facility. The children's and sports areas are surrounded by dense shrubbery to reduce noise and create a comfortable environment for visitors.

Key Techniques and Features.

A free-flowing landscape “flows” through the austere geometry of the facades: winding paths and large-format tiles gradually blend into the plantings, blurring the boundary between architecture and garden.

Each courtyard has its own character—the Willow Courtyard hides a large pond among the hills and willow thickets, the Maple Courtyard creates a space for relaxation in its green rooms, and the Rowan Courtyard invites you to a sunny terrace under a light glass canopy. Different color schemes allow residents to instantly grasp the character of a space and change their mood simply by moving from one courtyard to another.
Small architectural elements enhance the geometric- bionic dialogue. Structural canopies and railings echo the rhythm of the facades, while boulder-style benches and undulating topiary shrubs extend and emphasize the fluid flow of the forms. The natural palette of stone, wood, and metal gives the design a cohesive feel.
Conceptual Design of Courtyards
Each courtyard has its own distinctive features, reflecting the architectural color scheme and the neighborhood’s branding strategy. The courtyards differ in their main planting groups, types of perennials, and the materials used.
Green Rooms
The abundance of green spaces has made it possible to diversify the visitor experience on the grounds—trimmed hedges create private relaxation areas for various groups of people. Intimate outdoor workspaces, semi-open playgrounds for children, and areas for sports activities.
Roofed Galleries
The open spaces beneath the building’s columns are designed to offer a variety of functions, allowing people to work and relax on their own, as well as gather in groups to get things done while enjoying the picturesque views.
Large Number of Restrictions
Existing and planned utility networks, the river channel, fire lanes, and setbacks became the constraints that formed the basis of the design solution.
Central Boulevard
The boulevard within the neighborhood serves as the main pedestrian route, offering views of the complex’s main functional areas. The entire path is accented with red-toned plants, lighting, and a distinctive shade of tile.
It was important for us to highlight and reinforce the project’s concept through every possible decorative technique—details in the paving inlays that echo the idea of a natural flow, glass canopies that extend the architecture beyond the building itself, and boulder-like benches that combine two opposites: structure and naturalness.
