purpose.

Create an all-weather courtyard park that maximizes functionality and harmonizes with the architectural design.

A green oasis in the heart of the city.

We sought to create a natural oasis where everyone could feel at home. Playing with the scale of spaces allows residents to choose what exactly they want to engage with: nature, other people, or themselves. The details come together to form a cohesive, unique story.
You can experience it every day by observing how your surroundings change. Our space should give the impression that everything here was created by nature itself, and that people have simply found and set up cozy spots for themselves to contemplate these landscapes. The garden is formed by freely growing plants. The clean-cut green volumes are integrated into the openwork foliage, evoking a connection to architecture. Plants with more lush and vibrant blooms are placed in the center.
project concept and solutions.

Functional Areas.

Roofed Galleries
Each of the houses has areas sheltered from rain and snow by the projecting parts of the facade. We furnish these areas with soft furnishings and potted plants, and set up spaces for sports and recreation.
Main Square
During the creation of the central square, an unconventional decision was made: to plant pine trees on clear stems. This creates the atmosphere of a small Italian courtyard with stone pines.
Green Living Room
In a secluded corner of the garden, under the shade of the trimmed linden trees, there are tables for working, relaxing, and playing board games.
Quiet Relaxation Area
A small natural pond, surrounded by willows and maples, creates a soothing atmosphere with the gentle murmur of the water.

Key Techniques and Features.

Despite the numerous utility lines and restrictions, we managed to incorporate all the necessary areas for work and relaxation, playing with children, and sports activities within the site.

At the same time, the sense of nature’s dominance over architecture was preserved. We achieved this effect by raising the retaining walls. A gradual increase in the height of the plantings helps to separate visitors within the complex and visually enhance the amount of greenery.
Planting multi-stemmed trees and naturally shaped shrubs helps move away from landscaping in the traditional sense. We don’t create isolated plantings, but rather a unified green space where large clumps of plants merge and flow into one another.
Dry Fountain
The space between the children's area and the central plaza was set aside for a dry fountain. This makes it multifunctional, serving as a decorative element most of the time and extending the play area on hot days.
Modular Furniture
The bionic-shaped benches are constructed from slats, which helps the design blend seamlessly into the landscape. All benches are placed in areas where the pavement rises and transitions into retaining walls.
Cascading Ponds
With their designs, the water features continue the vitrage theme. The central pond features several underwater steps, while the ponds in the oriental section have raised cascading steps.
Stream
A naturally formed stream runs through the courtyard. In areas where it is not possible to construct a real riverbed, we have replaced it with dry fill that mimics the flow of water.
We designed a courtyard befitting the high-end nature of the property. Located just a kilometer from the Kremlin, the complex feels like a secluded private park where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the big city.
