Purpose.

The main goal of the project was to create a new natural area near St. Petersburg for leisurely relaxation on the shores of the Gulf of Finland. It was necessary to attract tourists from various regions by preserving the area’s distinctive landscape.

A vacation with minimal impact on the natural environment.

When developing this project, it was important to us to create a space for people with limited and controlled human impact on the environment. Vacation packages are designed to cater to a variety of groups, and the glamping site is perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, or groups of friends.
Glamping site was set up within the forest with minimal impact on the landscape. The glamping site is divided into several zones: Zone 1 consists of VIP cabins by the lake with direct access to the water; Zone 2 is the social hub, featuring a restaurant; Zone 3 comprises communal areas designed for groups; and the wooded sections of Zones 2 and 4 feature mini-cabins and treehouses.
The shoreline served as the setting for various activities—we created an area featuring children’s play areas and sports facilities integrated into the landscape, recreational spaces, and a natural promenade with a bathhouse complex, while preserving all existing habitats. We wanted to work as much as possible with nature and as little as possible against it.

Functional Areas.

Landscaping
The functional zoning of the glamping site was determined by its distance from the waterfront. Public areas were set up along the beachfront; further back, you’ll find a restaurant and designated activity areas; deep within the woods, you can relax by the campfire or play sports away from prying eyes.
Treating yourself and the world with care
The glamping site combines several key values: outdoor recreation with elements of environmental education (through informational signs and workshops) for children and adults, a place to connect with like-minded people, and a chance to recharge away from the hustle and bustle.
